SHEQ Advisor

SHEQ Advisor required for a well-established based in the Northern Cape with

• Grade 12 • National Diploma or Degree in Safety • Nebosh Qualification will be advantageous • Experience from the mining industry • Samtrac • Valid drivers licence • Risk management SHEQ standards • Occupational health and safety • Ensure that all SHEQ policies and procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed and communicated • Monitor safety behaviours • Investigate problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions and employee appeals and grievances • Ensure a safety workplace environment without risk to health • Manage safety systems and risk management programmes • Report on all safety statistics • Lead a investigation to team to identify problems which may arise • Conduct international safety departmental audits • Lead and coordinate achievements, implementation and maintenance of SHE systems and certifications • Report safety statistics • Ensure the compliancy of the company on site to ensure optimum operation and service • Report on performance of site management systems • Health and safety • Medically fit
